Big Ben is having a career season for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the signal-caller may have suffered an injury against the Kansas City Chiefs Monday night.

The Steelers have reportedly been told Ben Roethlisberger suffered a sprained shoulder on Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

According to Kansas City Star reporter Adam Teicher, Big Ben went to the locker room after taking a hit in the third quarter:
The injury occurred on a sack by Chiefs pass-rusher Justin HoustonRoethlisberger fell awkwardly, went to the sideline and trotted to the locker room a few minutes later, his arm hanging by his side.
Before leaving the game, he was 9-of-18 for 84 yards and a touchdown. He wasn't having a big night, but he was one of the few positive signs for the Steelers.
Byron Leftwich hasn't attempted a pass this season, although he does have experience. With Charlie Batch marked as inactive, Leftwich is the only option Monday night if Big Ben cannot return.
