Former Lakers Coach Mike Brown Hits Up Chick-fil-A After Being Fired

Mike Brown took his firing in stride on Friday. At least, strides that took him all the way to a local Chick-fil-A location.
A bizarre story took an odd turn when the newly canned head coach was spotted smiling with a fan at a fast-food diner just hours after news broke that he would no longer be with the L.A. Lakers.
TMZ has a couple of photos that show the former Lakers coach taking in the sights and smells of a Chick-fil-A as local sports broadcaster Jim Hill was waiting on line one.
TMZ obtained photos of Brown hanging at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Costa Mesa, CA around 11:30 AM ... just a few hours after news broke that he was fired from the team...

We're told Brown was super-nice to fans ... taking pics and shaking hands ... but he never discussed the firing.

However, it appears Brown WAS in the mood to talk ... 'cause he was in the middle of a phone convo with legendary L.A. sports reporter Jim Hill when he stopped to take the above photo.

We agree completely with the report because it looks exactly like Brown was super nice to fans. The last thing that you would want to do after being fired is smile and take pictures with random strangers.
Brown does more than that as it seems that he had a reporter on hold just to snap off a picture. Class.
As reported by multiple outlets, the Lakers parted ways with their head coach after the team stumbled to a 1-4 start.  A head coach who takes pride in defense saw his team give up 98.8 points per game, good for 19th in the league.
I know when I'm depressed I drown my sorrows in fast food, an idea shared by Brown it seems.
