Norv Turner Flips Out in Post-Game Press Conference
The question of Norv Turner's job security has become an annual tradition along the lines of Thanksgiving, but this time, it's different.
This is going to be the year where we bid adieu to this familiar topic. There will be no second-half surge for the San Diego Chargers.
The evidence is there in the 4-5 record or the fact that San Diego has lost five of its last seven, but we've seen the Chargers turn around their fortunes in a hurry. What is even a bigger piece of evidence is Turner himself.

It is understandable that Turner was upset. Philip Rivers threw two late interceptions, which certainly doomed his team, and San Diego is largely being undone by its own mistakes.
However, losing games due to self-inflicted wounds is nothing new to the Chargers under Turner. What was new was Turner's reaction.
This time, Turner is at a loss of how to fix the problems derailing his team. His diminished patience is surely attributed to sinking confidence in his team.
San Diego lacks the kind of explosive playmakers who have helped make this offense so dangerous in previous years, and this leaves Rivers and Turner pressing to get results when they don't have much to work with.
There will be no righting the ship in San Diego this year, and Turner will not escape with his job.
