According to NFL Network reporter Albert Breer, RG3 is optimistic about his knee after suffering an injury on Sunday:

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports tweeted this news after Griffin had not only left the game, but also headed to the locker room.
Following Griffin’s exit, backup quarterback and fellow rookie Kirk Cousins completed two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown before running it in for the two-point conversion to tie up the ballgame at 28-28.
So that’s why the 'Skins “wasted” a fourth-round pick on a second-string quarterback.
While Washington must be thrilled Cousins was able to force overtime, it has to be holding its breath after yet another RGIII injury. He was criticized earlier in the season for not protecting his body well enough.
Griffin had completed 15-of-26 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown prior to his injury. He had added 34 yards on the ground and protected the football. The Redskins need him if they still plan on making the playoffs.
In overtime, a 64-yard Richard Crawford punt return set up Kai Forbath for the game-winning field goal to move the Redskins to 7-6. But they aren’t sneaking into the postseason on the backs of miracle special teams plays.
Entering Sunday trailing the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants, Washington still needs help to get in, and its next three games against the Cleveland Browns,Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys won’t be a cakewalk, especially without a 100 percent healthy RGIII.
