Kevin Durant earned his first career ejection by going off on referee Danny Crawford at the end of a frustrating loss.
The Oklahoma City Thunder got beat at home by the Brooklyn Nets 110-93. The Nets led by 16 at the half, but the Thunder came back in the second half and only trailed by two with under seven minutes left. That’s when the Nets began receiving calls and making all their free throws to rebuild a lead.
Durant was ejected with under two minutes left for arguing with Crawford after the referee had already issued a technical foul against Kendrick Perkins following an illegal screen call. KD was hit with a technical foul by Crawford, and then appeared to cuss at the referee in response. That earned him his second technical foul, resulting in his ejection.
Durant had 27 points in 41 minutes at the time of his ejection.
